Contemporary is a modality of being with time, existing with time.
The purpose, if there is a need for one, is not to find a single definition of What’s Contemporary. There is no discipline more contemporary than another. Contemporary is a modality of being with time, existing with time. Everything we create at every instant is contemporary. There is no single definition of “contemporary,” embraces the balance that can be created from a multiplicity of voices. Contemporary is in the gaze, and not the object.
